Daylight savings time change is also called daylight saving time. In the United States, we change our time in October and again in March. The reasons are first, Americans seem to like the time change. Another reason is it was safer for Trick or treaters on Halloween. Experts claim there have been fewer violent crimes since implementing daylight savings time. Lastly, it has been proven with longer daylight hours there are much fewer traffic accidents.
