The 1960s was filled with famous people. There was a lot going on around the world at that time. Two famous brothers were assassinated in the 1960s. They were John F. Kennedy and Robert F. Kennedy. Martin Luther King Jr was a famous civil rights leaders. The group known as the Beatles were releasing records and appearing on television programs. They did a lot to change music. Richard Nixon became President of the United States in 1968.
