A flathead screwdriver is one whose blade is flat and its teeth can fit in slotted screws. A person who has lost their car keys can use it to start. Find out where the screws that hold the plastic trim in place on your steering column are. Unfasten the screws and remove the plastic trim pieces to expose the ignition switch. Unfasten the screws to unlock the steering wheel. Separate the electrical wires from the ignition switch. Put in flat-head screwdriver and turn like you are using the key for the car to start.
