Ethical theory is believed by many to be the main foundation for the solutions to the difficult situations that are encountered by people throughout their lives. These theories help people to determine right from wrong. While the concept of ethics can be a very confusing thing for many people to understand, it is reported that ethics can be divided into four major theories. The four major ethical theories are reported to be meta-ethics, normative ethics, applied ethics, descriptive ethics.
