What are the four types of consumers in ecology?

Answer

The four types of consumers are herbivores, omnivores, scavengers and decomposers. Each type of consumer is important to the ecosystem it lives in. Herbivores consume only plants, carnivores feed on other animals, omnivores feed on plants and animals and decomposers feed by breaking down the remains of dead plants and animals.
