Give Me Examples of Proverbs?

Answer

A proverb is a saying that is well-known and expresses a commonly held truth that is based on the experience of humanity. Some proverbs have been handed down over time in almost every culture, while others have been passed on from their use in literature, such as the Bible. To give an example of some of the proverbs we have become familiar with are the phrases you can catch more flies with sugar than you can with vinegar, those that live in glass houses shouldn?t throw stones, and a dog is a man?s best friend.
