Great than less than fractions can be solved by first finding a common denominator. Once they have a common denominator, the fraction which is larger, will be indicated using the greater than symbol. These fractions can also be broken down by dividing the denominator into the numerator to create a fraction. Either method will produce the same results there one fraction is greater than or less than the other fraction. This is part of basic math found in rudimentary math.
