Heterogeneously Dense Breast Tissue?

Answer

Dense breast tissue is made up of less fat and more connective tissue. They are somewhat related to breast cancers because the tumors and these tissues both appear to be white in a mammogram. Heterogeneously dense breast tissue implies that there are several areas of the breast with dense breast tissue, but they are not clustered together.
