Hinduism Key People?

Answer

Naming the key people in Hinduism is a tricky area because Hinduism is a difficult religion to trace. Theologians do not know when Hinduism actually began. However, there are both famous theologians that have impacted Hinduism and how it is practiced, and there are seven sages (known as the Great Rishi.) The seven Great Rishi are: Bhrigu, Gautama, Angira, Atri, Bharadvaja, Vishvamitra, and Vashishta. The most important theologians of note are Shankara, Abhinavagupta, and Ramanuju.
