Historic Silver Prices?

Answer

Silver prices have risen, fallen and fluctuate regularly, but the last two times they were at all time highs were in July of 2011 and in the beginning of 1980. The highest the stock has gone was at $49.45. The values are currently, as of May 17, 2012, $22.34, so they are nowhere near as high as they once were. Silver coins also vary in price based on the quality and rarity of the coin.
