History of Photography?

Answer

The concept of photography, which literally means 'writing with light,' began centuries ago when people learned how to project an image onto a surface through a pinhole. In 1727, a professor noticed that a mixture of silver and chalk and nitric acid got darker when exposed to light. About a century later, in 1826, somebody first succeeded in putting the two concepts together and forming a lasting image.  Improvements and refinements followed rapidly, and in 1900 Kodak introduced its first roll-film Brownie camera.
