How Can I Take Scratches out of Eyeglasses?

Answer

In order to take scratches out of eyeglasses, there are several methods you can use. You can use a soft cloth or cotton with toothpaste to buff away scratches. Rinse and dry. You can also use baking soda in the same way. There are commercial products available, too, that do basically the same thing.

To get scratches off of eyeglasses, you should use a cotton ball, and toothpaste, similar to the way you would clean a scratched CD. Put a small dab of toothpaste on the lens, and lightly rub it with the cotton ball. From there, you want to rinse the lens with water, and a warm moist piece of wool or lens cloth. Something soft should be used, if something abrasive is used, it can scratch the lens even further.
