How Do Crabs Mate?

Answer

A male crab will begin a dance by standing on the tips of his legs moving side to side and also raising his claws in the air releasing pheromones to attract a female crab who is sexually mature. Once ready to mate the female will expose two triangular shaped holes on her abdomen called gonopores. The male will insert slender gonopods into the gonopores and release sperm.
