How Do I Dye 100 Polyester Fabric?

Answer

Polyester is probably the most difficult fabric to dye, along with acrylic. The deal is that the fibres are basically plastic, so they are nonporous, and the colour really needs to be added to them in the factory as the fibres are spun from the chemicals they use. You can still try it, and you may be able to get a little of the dye to set, but you probably won't be able to get a deep colour on it.
