You can either soft or hard reset an Epson printer. To soft reset it, one can press the power button and turn it off for about three minutes and then power it on. One can also turn off the computer as well as the printer and disconnect it form the computer for about three minutes. Finally reconnect it then power both of the printer and the computer on.

To reset Epson printer, you can use the Epson chip resetters available on the market or you can push the yellow button on the printer to change it to full when the cartridge arrives on the left and do the same when it returns to the right. Move the lever towards the front of the printer and slide the cartridges to the left. Finally, slide the cartridges all the way back to the normal standby position.
