How Do I Test Engine Oil Pressure?

Answer

Testing for oil pressure involves fitting the oil pressure gauge with an adapter as it is being pulled up then lowering the vehicle and starting the engine. The pressure while at idle speed should read 0.9 bars while at 1500 rev per minute, it should read 2.0 bars. Gauge what you get to determine whether it is high or low but put in mind that it is dependent on very many variables like oil temperature and viscosity.
