How do You Change Front Struts on a Car?

Answer

Your first step must be to purchase, borrow or rent a spring compressor before you remove the olds struts from your car. After you jack your car up, loosen the bolts and caps covering the top of the struts. Use your spring compressor to tighten the springs and remove nuts and to uncompress the spring so that the strut is freed and afterwards you put in the new strut and and rebolt. Once you have completed these steps , repeat with other side.
