How Do You Change the Power Steering Hose on a 2002 Kia Optima?

You would first need to determine which hose needs to be changed and trace it down to where the hose connects to the rack and pinion. Connect it there and poke a rag inside the hose, go back to the power steering pump and disconnect it there. Put a rag both in the hose and the power steering pump. When you are ready to replace the hose remove the rag and connect at both ends. Don't forget to fill up the power steering fluid.

I have a 2004 Kia Optima EX V6. You have to get a new battery for your key fob(s) and take to dealer to program it. It can only be programmed when they hook it up to the computer.
If you are having to fill up the power steering reservoir often (more than once every year or two) you probably have a leak. Look for fluid on the engine's serpentine belt as the I only got a 97 sse but this sight can help you its helped me several times.
