How Do You Make a Mop Hat?


You make a mop hat by first pre-washing the material. Iron and lay it on the table, then tie one end of the strings to a sharpened pencil and the other to a hat pin. Hold the hat pin to the centre of the fabric and draw a circle with the pencil. Cut the fabric following the circle, then thread with straight pins. Sew the bias tape in position. Make two strings at the opposite ends, then tie them into a bow. Tuck inside the cap.
