In making tie-dye T-shirts you will need plant colouring since food colours will easily come off when you wash them. Pick up a 100 percent cotton T-shirt, wash it and tie knots in it while still wet. Mix the dye in a bucket and add five tablespoonfuls. The next step is to put the T-shirt in the bucket and let it soak for 20 minutes. Rinse the T-shirt with cold water before you undo the knots. Rinse the T-shirt again and hand it to dry under the sun.
