Note that with very obstinate super glue stains you may need to use approximately boiling water to get rid of the whole super glue residue. As with any sort of stain, try to clean as soon as the super glue is applied as it's easier to remove before it sets. You can also use superglue remover.
Acetone found in household nail polish remover, and a small amount on the end of a Q-tip or cotton swab applied straight to the glue softens the bond without harming the skin. It is used to remove superglue on clothing/fabrics, counters, tables, floors and glass.
One of the most commonly recommended methods to remove Super Glue is to use acetone, and the easiest way to get acetone is to have some fingernail polish handy.
