The Camellia is a dark green shrub that is used for landscaping. Take a cutting from the camellia bush after the initial spring growth. Cut the tip end of a limb with the new growth by cutting just under the fourth set of leaves from the end of the branch. Put in a container with water for it not to dry. Drain hole in a flower pot and fill it with potting mixture of sphagnum moss, peat moss and vermiculite then add water then plant the cutting in the pot. Let it root for six to eight weeks.
