How do you trim a laurel bush?

A laurel bush is best trimmed during early spring. Begin by removing all branches and leaves that withered during winter. After clipping, apply nitrogen fixing fertilizer and water adequately. Remember to shake the bush lightly to get rid of all loose leaves and clippings. Be sure not to remove the supporting branches because the damage may be irreversible.
