How does QAM work?


QAM also known as quadrature amplitude modulation is a method of merging 2 amplitude-modulated signals into one channel with the intention of doubling the effective bandwidth. The method works by modulating the amplitude of two separate carrier waves, mostly sine and cosine waves.
