Video calling or conferencing is a way of communicating that is able to connect people that are in different physical locations with video, audio, and computer technology. The method that is most commonly used to connect different individuals for a video call is through a computer network. The basic idea of a video call is that the computer network operates as a central hub where all the participants go to connect in to the conference. There are two main methods of networking the participants in a conference to the central hub of the computer network to participate in the video conference. These are through either ISDN networks, or IP networks.
