How Long does HIV Live in the Air?

My doctors has informed me that HIV can't live in the air otherwise more people would be effected by it than there is. HIV can only in blood and bodily fluids. That is why it is only contagious through sexual contact and blood to blood interaction.

Actually, there is no amount of time that HIV lives in the air because the virus dies on air contact. HIV is only transmitted through bodily fluids, like blood and semen.
