How Long does It Take to do a Root Canal?

The time it takes to do a root canal depends on your particular dentist. When I got mine done I had 3 separate appointments of an hour each. The first appointment they drilled down the teeth and cleaned out the root then sent me home for the swelling to go down. The second appointment I was fitted with studs to hold the crowns in place and fitted for crowns. The third appointment they placed the crowns.
