How Long Does Lard Last?

Answer

Lard is a type of fine pork fat that has undergone rendering. It is used as cooking fat, shortening or bread spread but is much less preferred today due to its high fat content. It can remain fresh for a considerably long period of time (up to three months in the fridge and up to a year in the freezer).
