How Long to Recharge a Car Battery?

Answer

It is recommended for one to charge his or her battery using a car charger that slowly charges the battery. These chargers are usually plugged into a standard outlet and then connects to the car with alligator clips. The charge can take upwards of 5-10 hours depending on the size of the battery and the charger itself. It's only recommended to charge a battery with jumper cables that connect to another vehicles battery in extreme cases, such as a stranded vehicle.

Car battery recharging depends on how long the car battery has been dead. The longer it has been dead the longer it will take to recharge the battery. To recharge a car battery while driving, you must drive a half an hour at over over 1,000 RMPs for the car to restart.
