How many years does a landlord have to replace carpet in a rental?
I'm not sure what state you live in, but in most states landlords are not required to replace the carpet unless it is a stipulation of the lease. Most landlords do not want to lose a good tenant over something like carpeting. It never hurts to ask them to replace it.
