How Many Years does a Well Pump Last?

There are many different types of well pumps some can last for decades and other only for a few short years. A pump will last as long as it is properly maintained.

In my experience how many years a well pump lasts depends on the pump and the use. Usually they will last about 10 years but that is just a heavy duty pump. Sometimes when the well is shallow the pump will burn out much faster.
