How much does the fattest man in the world weigh?


As of 2013, the fattest living man in the world weighed more than 1,345 pounds. Khalid bin Mohsen Shaeri was airlifted from his home to a hospital in Riyadh after King Abdullah issued an order for his medical assistance.

Shaari has continued to undergo treatment and therapy since undergoing bariatric surgery, but he is still unable to walk on his own. As of 2014, it is estimated that he has lost as many as 700 pounds.

The Guinness Book of World Records lists Jon Brower Minnoch as the world's heaviest man at a weight of 1,400, when he was admitted to University Hospital in Seattle suffering from congestive heart failure in 1978. At the time of his death in 1983, Minnoch weighed 798 pounds.
