Start by taking the handgun apart and laying the pieces on a clean cloth. Using savant and a clean cloth to wipe the pieces clean. Next using the proper bore brush and rod clean the inside of the barrel follow that up with a light coat of oil. Now use a clean cloth put a small amount of gun oil on it and wipe down all the parts. The coat of oil should be very light, too much oil can cause jamming. Reassemble the handgun and you are done.
