Place crawdads in large vat of water and allow them to sit for about 30 minutes. Stir them around to help get the dirt and debris off them. Discard dead ones floating on top of the water and place live ones directly into a pot of boiling water. Add eight lemons and the peels of the lemons to the boiling water. Add a pound of crawfish boil seasoning. Add corn on the cob, potatoes, garlic cloves, and red onions to the pot. Allow crawdads to boil for five minutes. Turn off heat and place lid on pot, allow crawdads to cook for 30 minutes longer.
