# How to Draw a Cone?

A cone is a type of three-dimensional figure that is similar to a triangle. In order to draw a cone, the artist will first start off by drawing a triangle. A circle can then be drawn at the base of the triangle. Once this has been completed, the figure can then be shaded in. The shading is what gives the figure a three-dimensional appearance. The angle of the cone will look different depending upon where the shading is done. The cone can be shaded down the middle or on both sides, leaving the middle empty.
