# How to Draw Stairs?

Draw your vanishing point and horizon line then draw two lines that extend from the bottom corners of the page to the top where both lines will intersect. Draw two vertical lines that will connect each diagonal line to the bottom of the page then draw a horizontal line from the top of one vertical line to the top of the other one. Draw a second horizontal line just a few centimetres above then find where the diagonal lines on the side and the lower horizontal line intersect and then extend two lines all the way to the vanishing point. These lines will act as the edges of the first step. Repeat the second and third steps until you have built a staircase then erase all of the guidelines. When drawing a horizontal view of the stairs, draw two parallel diagonal lines then draw a vertical line that will connect one parallel line to another. From this point, draw a horizontal line that will connect this point to the other line and then erase the guidelines.
