Fixing a Chainsaw?

Answer

Switch on the chainsaw and burn up any remaining fuel in the tank, or pour the contents into an accepted fuel container. Unhook the tabs that hold the cylinder cover in position over the cylinder. Pry off the rubber grommet that is positioned at the top and covers the carburettor adjusting screws with the tip of a screwdriver. Open the gas tank again. Grasp and squeeze the fuel line with the needle-nose pliers and pull it out of the engine. Unbend the metal wire and push it through the gas line. Cut the angled end off with the scissors. Grab the fuel line, on the carburettor side and pull it towards the carburettor elbow connector. Set the grommet back in place over the carburettor.
