A P0300 code is more of a general code. If the number ends with a 2, it would tell you which cylinder is misfiring. With a 300 code, you're going to have to check a lot of things to find out what to fix. It could be the spark plugs, exhaust valve, a bad oxygen sensor, or even a bad computer.
