Water hammer is one of those things that is fairly easy to fix. Start by turning off the water at the main valve. Open the faucet of the sink that is farthest from the main first. Then open all the other faucets, moving from farthest to nearest. Let the water drain for a good time and then close all the faucets except the first one.
