To get stains off of linoleum you mix a half cup of minor floor cleaner to three gallons of water in a container. Clean the linoleum with the floor cleaner water. Apply a small amount of acetone nail polish remover to a soft cloth and rub out the stain. Make a paste with one tea spoon of baking soda and a half tea spoon of water if cleaning liquids. Mix two parts of distilled vinegar with three parts water in a small bucket. Use more mixture for large stains. Wipe clean with a clean cloth.
