To make peanut brittle you will need a large baking sheet. Turn on medium heat under a 2 quart saucepan. Dump in 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup light corn syrup, 1/4 tsp salt, and 1/4 cup water. When the sugar all dissolves you can add 1 cup peanuts and stir. When temperature is 300 degrees, put 2 tbsp. butter and 1 tsp. baking soda in and stir. Spread on cookie sheet, cool and break up into pieces.
