How to Make Photo Quilts?

Answer

To make photo quilts, you will need high-resolution digital photos, cropped to be square. Buy iron-on transfer printer sheets from a fabric store - those made for dark material are best. Print the photos onto transfer sheets. Cut fabric squares the same size as your photos, plus an extra 2/3' or so for seams. Transfer the photos and use a sewing machine to sew the squares together. Add batting to the back and sew fabric to the back of the quilt.
