How to Pass a Job Interview?

Answer

The main purpose of the interview is to hire the 'best fit'. The 'best fit' could be a back room technical geeky genius or someone less technical and more business aware. You'll need to gauge this at the interview. Then you can focus your questions to show that you fit the role they have described. Never focus on why the role would be good for you and what you would get out of it. The client does not care. They are solely interested in whether they can trust you to do the job on time and to budget.

Some of the questions that you may be asked really do not have a pass or fail to them. Most of the time people are just looking to see how your mind works. The best thing you could do is pay attention to what is being said, always have a smile on your face and present yourself in a professional manner.
