How to Put a V8 in a Ford Ranger?

Answer

This task is not as easy as you might think. The first thing you will have to do is remove the old motor and tranny. There are companies that sell a conversion kit so you will not have to manufacture your own motor mounts and tranny mounts. Getting one of these kits will make this project go allot faster. For the most part the mounts are the only thing you will have to change. If done right you can use all the original equipment other than the motor and tranny.
