A family tent is just like any other tent except that it is bigger and has a type of floor for because of the kids. You will first of all have to find a location to keep your tent after which, you will take the poles and insert them into the ground with the sharp edges down ensuring that they meet at the top forming a sort of X whereby the roof pole will run. Remember to tie the poles before you put the waterproof cloth material. Because it is a family tent, you will have to put down some sort of floor for the sake of the kids first before you put the tent cover/roof on the poles taking care of the entrance. Secure the floor and the roof in place by use of stakes firmly into the ground to ensure that the forces of nature like wind cant blow them off. You tent is now ready.
