Cornsilk on corn can be a little difficult to remove, and tedious to remove string-by-string when done by hand. To make the process faster, soak the corn in ice water for thirty minutes. When you shuck the corn, the silk should come off fairly easy, and you can also use a toothbrush to held coax it off.
