To set the color in new clothes all you need to do is to put them in the washer and add about a quarter of a cup of sea salt in on top of the clothes. Add detergent and wash like you normally would. Salt will set the colors so you will have no fading.

Just make sure for positive that you wash all the vinegar out of the cloth after you soak it, vinegar can eat through fabric if left in too heavy a concentration.
