How to Shorten Vertical Blinds?

Answer

To shorten vertical blinds, you will require a measuring tape, scissors, flat strait edge, a pencil and sandpaper. Start by removing the vertical blinds by slipping them off of the hooks that hold them onto the rod then measure the vertical height distance of the window opening. Mark and cut the blinds then use a piece of fine grit sandpaper to gently sand the edges of the vertical blinds where you made the cuts with the scissors. Finally, cut all the blinds and hang them back on the hanging hooks attached to the rod.
