How to Thread a White Sewing Machine?

Answer

All sewing machines are much alike. They have little arrows pointing to where the thread goes. If you can't figure it out, call the manufacturer of the machine and have a maintenance book sent to you.

Most sewing machines are threaded in a very similar fashion, but, always consult the manufacturer's instructions for properly threading your sewing machine. Start by having the needle raised into its highest position and the presser foot lifted. Now, place your spool of thread onto your machine's spool pin and run the thread through the machine's threading points and down to the tension assembly on the left. Pull your thread under the tension assembly and back up through the next threading point. Finish running the thread through any remaining threading points and proceed to thread your needle. The needle will need to be threaded either front to back or vice versa, depending on your machine. Pull about three inches of thread through the needle. Holding the thread, rotate the hand wheel towards yourself until the needle goes into the bobbin case. Still holding the thread, turn the wheel until the needle is back at its highest position and you're done!
