How to Write Military Time?

Answer

Military time is kept in 24 hours around the clock instead of 12 AM and 12 PM hours. Starting at 1AM, the correct military format is 01 hundred hours or the normal numbers of 1:00. It changes number wise after 12 PM when the hours become 13 hundred and so on. 2:15 PM in military time would be 14:15. 6PM would be 18:00 or 18 hundred hours.

The military uses a 24 hours system much like the rest of us except each hour has it's own designation. 1 a.m. through 12 noon is the same but after that you add 1. So 1:00 p.m. is 13:00, 2 p.m. is 14:00. They say fourteen hundred. Midnight would be 24:00.
